Empty Nest does not mean that your days are empty!

06 Oct

The days just after “they” leave, the house slowly becomes a little less cluttered as does our thought process. We have more time to think of ourselves and what we are going to do to move onward and upward! Recreate our lives!

Do I really need to RECREATE…I think I was on a good path; I think I was just fine! Well, I will keep moving and have decided to use this blog to share some of my successes and even failures (hard to admit!) in hopes that you get inspiration or an inclination to do more for you, your spouse, or if we could possibly do more for the children we have at home, the ones that are about to leave the nest, or the ones we want to push out of the nest!

So, today’s idea is to find something you like to do and look into it, go out on a limb, that empty limb and take flight!

This blog is me flying. What will you do to keep your days full of not just activity but meaning?

Not too quiet yet, and I suspect once I revel in this peace I will step into some type of volunteering that will keep me busy again. Maybe I’ll even get to visit some long lost friends :)
